What to do if you encounter a bear:

Let the bear know you are human. Talk to the bear in a normal voice. Wave your arms. Help the bear recognize you. If the bear gets too close, raise your voice and be more aggressive. If a bear actually makes contact, surrender! Fall to the ground and play dead. Lie flat on your stomach, or curl up in a ball with your hands behind your neck. Typically, a bear will break off it's attack once it feels the threat has been eliminated. Remain motionless for as long as possible. (via)

Good Haul

Today's a bit of a gloomy day but I'm just so glad to be done final papers and projects. Lately I've been drinking beer, doodling, rewatching Lost (again and again and again) and shoppin'. Summer soon, I think.

Litho was my favourite class this year. Printmaking in general is super fun but I definitely need to keep practicing!!

School started. This year I have drawing and photography, hopefully fibres too (cross your fingers for me!). I haven't really started doing work yet though. I also one day hope to post pictures of my apartment. That's all.

Craft kits from a long time ago are really special. I like old-meets-new and pretending I'm a kid from a long time ago. Plus it's better than buying vintage because it doesn't smell like someone else's house.
